the london EYE

The very first thing our girls wanted to do when they got to London was ride the london eye! The idea of a 400ft ferris wheel was going to be the ride of a lifetime. And so on our very first day in London, we hit the pavement and made our way down to the Thames waterfront at 8:30 am sharp. (The girls had woken up at 4:30am that morning due to jet lag) Bright eyed and bushy tailed, we were the first in line before the doors even opened.

Turns out the Eye moves so slowly, it was less of a ‘ride’ and more of a sight seeing experience for the girls, with the best views of the entire city.
